How do I know what size to order?  

Please see Size Charts on our site. Every dress description comes with a Size Chart at the bottom of the page.Keep in mind that the measurements are taken to determine the closest size to be ordered and that the garment will not be custom-made to the exact measurements. Almost every gown will need some type of adjustment.

Prior to selecting your size to order, we suggest you read the next question on  How to Measure. The designer will be unable to accommodate any changes to the size once the order has been placed. The customer is responsible for the size ordered .Wedding Gowns Galore cannot assume any responsibility for measurements. 

Do I order my regular size dress?

No! Wedding gowns and other  formal-wear , like bridesmaid's dresses, come in smaller sizes, or run very small. So, if you wear size 10 dress, you might need to get size 12, 14 or 16 in a wedding gown.

How Do I measure Myself?

Do dresses come with veils, gloves or other accessories?

Some dresses DO come with gloves (e.g. All dresses from Collection *Hollywood Dreams* come with your choice of gloves). It is specified in the description of the dress if such accessories like jackets, veils, shawls,etc. come with a dress. 

How do I know my dress is on its way?

If you give us a valid email address, you will receive an email with a tracking number when your dress is shipped.

When should I order?  

Please place your order as far  in advance of your wedding date as possible. By doing so, you will allow enough time for production and shipping. It also gives you time to do any alterations if necessary.

Can I place my order over the phone? 

We do NOT accept phone orders. We require all orders in writing (online order only ) to avoid errors.

Do you ship outside the U.S. ?

We ship worldwide! Orders shipped outside the continental U.S. are sent via EMS, DHL or TNT. Please note FREE shipping to our customers cover our cost to ship a large box to other counties. It does not cover any customs or duty charges a country may impose on the receiver of the package.

Can I have a picture of the gown?

The available pictures are as posted on our website. We do not have additional pictures to send out to customers.

Are these used dresses?

All gowns and products we offer are new and direct from the bridal factory. We do not accept or offer resale items.

How do I clean my beautiful dress?

Please get your dress cleaned after each time you wear it. If it is not cleaned in a reasonable amount of time after wearing, and a yellowing of the fabric may result from prolonged storage. Please take your bridal gown to a professional cleaner that specializes in bridal dresses. Your normal cleaner may damage the precious dress by using the wrong chemicals.

How do I  choose a wedding style?

Everyone thinks they know how to buy a wedding gown. What most women don't realize is fabrics, style and measurements can influence the style of wedding dress that best compliments a particular body type. Here are tips on how to choose a style to look most flattering for you body type:

a. Full figured women
If you are a full figured woman, the best silhouette is an A- Line. A-line lengthens the whole body without drawing attention to your waistline. The empire waist is another good choice. The empire is narrowest just below the bust and conceals your waist and hips.
Deep V necks and scoop necks flatter curvy figures and always look best on full - figured women.

 
b. Petite
A-line wedding dresses are also flattering on a petite woman as it lengthens the body. Sheaths seem to shorten a small body even more. Stay clear of very full skirts. You want to keep your wedding dress in proportion to your body.
A cap sleeve gives the feeling of a strapless gown and also serves a practical purpose in holding the gown in place.

 
c. Large busted women
Off the shoulder gowns look wonderful on a full bust. It draws attention upward, emphasizes the shoulders and minimizes the chest. Keep your skirt narrow. Wearing a full skirt will make you look large on top and bottom.

d. Bottom heavy
Women who are larger through their hips and buttocks should look for a wedding dress that focuses on their upper body preferably with a full skirt. Corset style bodice with lacing will highlight your upper body. We want to draw attention away from your hips. Avoid pleats or gathered fabric around the waist.

Can I cancel my order? If  I want to change the color of my dress, is it possible?  

We will start making your order as soon as payment is received, and we can't cancel such an order. If we have started making your order, we can't accept any change for your order such as size or color choice. So please double check your order before your payment.

 Can I place an order by email?

If you order by email, please have the following information available to speed up processing. 1. Your name, e-mail, address, phone number.

2. Method of payment : credit card type, name on the card, card number, expiration date and security code (last 3 digits on the back of the card)

3. Dress  number, or SKU  (e.g. HS1493), size, color, trim or sash color (if any)

4. Date of your wedding

What is the delivery time for orders?

Wedding Gowns Delivery  normally takes  6-7 weeks from the time you place an order.

ALL  Evening Gowns delivery is 5-6 weeks.

Do you have rush delivery? 

Yes. Rush delivery is for Wedding Gowns ONLY ( 4 to 6 weeks) and  available for additional USD 60.00 at checkout.

Does it cost extra to get extra length on my dress?

Yes, it is $60 extra, please go to checkout and select "Extra Length" to get 6-8 additional inches added to the length of your dress.
